Depart Melbourne around midday and head to Brighton Beach, famous for its iconic bathing boxes. Take time to visit the beach and admire these historic landmarks. Continue through Melbourne’s bayside suburbs to Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. Enjoy a guided wildlife walk, where you can hand-feed native Australian animals such as kangaroos, koalas, emus, wallabies, quolls, owls, bandicoots, and Tasmanian devils. Experience the interactive "Conservation in Action" wildlife show featuring lesser-known Australian species. Proceed to Phillip Island, stopping at Point Grant and The Nobbies to take in views over Westernport Bay and Bass Strait, including Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest fur seal population. The highlight of the day is the Phillip Island penguin tour. After sunset, witness the world’s smallest penguins, returning ashore after a day of fishing at sea.
