Day 1 Arrival at Swiss – Lucerne
Welcome to Switzerland. The alpine country that you have been watching in movies and reading about since childhood! Using your Swiss pass (unlimited access to Swiss public transport), take the train to Lucerne. Its picturesque old town can easily be explored on foot. The town, with its well-preserved mediaeval core, elegant historic buildings, and genial atmosphere, is the most popular tourist attraction in Switzerland. Day 2 Lucerne
After breakfast, take the morning train to Engelberg to visit Mt. Titlis. TITLIS Rotair – the world's first revolving cable car, glacier cave, TITLIS Cliff Walk, Europe's highest suspension bridge, and TITLIS glacier park. Return to Lucerne by afternoon and head to the pier right next to the station. Your Swiss pass covers the boat cruise on Lake Lucerne. You’ll be fascinated by the scenery, the attractions of inland navigation, and the historical places dotted along the shoreline. On the outer deck, enjoy the breath of fresh air. In the evening, take a leisurely walk on the historical and wooden Kappelbrucke (Chapel bridge), see the famous Napoleon-era Lion Monument (a giant dying lion carved out of a wall of sandstone rock above a pond, designed as a memorial for the Swiss soldiers. Day 3 - Lucerne - Visit to the Stanserhorn
After breakfast, proceed to Stans, the starting point to reach the Stanserhorn, where you take the funicular and the cable car up the mountain. The cable car, called the Cabrio, has two decks. The upper deck is open and offers a great opportunity to take pictures. Overnight Lucerne Optional: Grindelwald First Take the train to the town of Grindelwald for your “first” excursion. Day 4 - Lucerne – Interlaken
After breakfast, you can check out and proceed to the train station to board your train to Interlaken. Upon arrival, proceed to explore Interlaken city on your own, including seeing Yash Chopra's statue, taking a boat trip to Lake Thun, or taking a boat trip to Lake Brienz. Optional: Harder Klum Explore the mountain top of Karder Kulm, graciously look down upon Interlaken, and get views of Lake Brienz, Lake Thun, Jungfrau, Mönch, and Eiger. Day 5 - Interlaken
After breakfast, take your train to visit the capital city of Switzerland, which is Bern. Stroll through the Old Town of Bern, admire the Gothic style Bern Cathedral, see the 13th-century Clock Tower (Zytglogge) and see The Rose Garden for an unrivalled view of the city. Optional Tour: Jungfraujoch Icey air streams across your face, snow crunches under your feet, and the view nearly takes your breath away: on one hand, the view of the Mittelland up to the Vosges, on the other, the Aletsch glacier, bordered by four thousand metre peaks. Standing on the Jungfraujoch, 3,454 metres above sea level, you can feel it with your first step: this is a different world. It's one you have to experience. The journey itself is unique in a way that gives you the full view of the alpine valley. You can reach Jungfraujoch from Grindelwald base station and return to Lauterbrunnen base station, or you can do vice-versa!
Day 6 - Interlaken – Montreux
After breakfast, you should check out and proceed to the train station to board the train to Montreux. On arrival, visit Chillon Castle. Chillon Castle is a mediaeval fortress dating back to the 12th century. It’s located along Lake Geneva, close to Montreux, and is one of Switzerland’s most popular cultural destinations. Optional: Olympic Museum Discover the history, culture, and views of Lake Geneva where you can explore the museum at your own pace. Combine fascinating exhibits with beautiful views. Day 7 - Montreux - visit Glacier 3000 Excursion
After breakfast, take the train to visit Glacier 3000 Excursion. Glacier 3000 is a mountain area east of Montreux. There's a vast range of adventurous activities in both winter and summer. Some spectacular activities that are included in the cable car ticket, such as the Peak Walk over a high suspension bridge, the Ice Express chairlift, the Glacier Walk to the mountain restaurant Refuge l’Espace and the Sledges Fun Park, Overnight Montreux.
Day 8 - Montreux – Zurich
After breakfast, proceed to Zurich by train. The financial centre of Switzerland and also home of FIFA's headquarters, Zurich is abuzz with activity day and night with its countless events, diverse museums, its own food festival and Switzerland’s most vibrant nightlife. Once in Zurich, check into the hotel. Later, proceed to Schaffhausen by train to see the mightiest waterfall in Europe. The Rhine Falls are a waterfall in Switzerland and the most powerful waterfall in the world. In Europe, the falls are located on the High Rhine, on the border between the cantons of Schaffhausen and Zürich. Overnight Zurich
Day 9 - Zurich
After breakfast, checkout and depart to Airport by shuttle transfer.
